Magna Systems will be demonstrating the latest in sports and live event production solutions at Content LiVE (Stand 2, Randwick Racecourse, 15 and 16 November 2023) across several key areas including contribution, distribution and delivery, virtual, desktop, cloud-based, intercoms and talkback.
Magna Systems & Engineering group CEO, Matthew Clemesha, said, “The solutions we will be demonstrating at Content LiVE really are at the cutting edge of sports and live event production. It’s these solutions that will help broadcasters and content creators take their productions and production values to the next level.”
The first offering from Magna at the show is the launch of its unique IPconneX contribution, distribution and delivery solution.
Built on the success of a proven system Magna designed and implemented earlier this year, IPconneX is an end-to-end, low latency acquisition to delivery solution with reduced dependency on hardware.
IPconneX leverages award-winning technologies from Magna’s partners and brings together Magna’s expertise in encoding, IP streaming, monitoring and cloud distribution. This, in turn, enables professional broadcast companies including TV broadcasters, TV operators, teleports and content providers to broadcast live with confidence.
Magna will also have a full Zero Density virtual studio and live green screen production set-up and demonstration on their stand.
The Zero Density demo will use the latest Panasonic PTZ camera inside a 3D virtual environment to showcase a complete virtual studio production.
The third demo on the Magna stand will be the Chyron LIVE cloud-based production platform featuring its latest AI component.
This demo will show how you can have a control room in the cloud that will handle multi-camera live remote production, CGs, replays and slo-mo, all specifically aimed at content creators, tier 2 sports and college sports.
Chyron LIVE is a desktop production solution that gives users full production quality via any browser and can be easily used for overflow events by major sports broadcasters.
Of the Chyron LIVE demo Kristy Weir, Product Manager at Chyron LIVE said, “Live sports streaming presents unique challenges for live video producers and Chyron LIVE demystifies the complexities of this field. Our demo on the Magna stand will showcase how cutting-edge production tools, including graphics, camera switching, and illustrated replay capabilities, can be seamlessly harnessed through a unified cloud-native user interface, accessible from anywhere via a simple HTML browser. We will also demonstrate the significant advantages of cloud-native production as, with the right approach, you can achieve the professional look and feel of a major sports broadcast in your live stream, all at a fraction of the cost associated with traditional broadcast equipment.”
Finally, there will be the latest live demo from talkback specialists RTS that features the highly scalable ODIN Digital intercom system, their new DSK4 digital speaker station, KP5032 and KP4016 key panels, ROAMEO wireless intercom system and new digital beltpacks.
